To the master clinician educator – from a lifelong learner

Nish, you are in large part responsible for who I am as a cardiologist today. You are a master educator amongst master educators at Mayo who taught me not just about pathophysiology, procedural skills and evidence based medicine. Every day, in every interaction, you exemplified the Mayo ideal of how to best care for patients. You are a walking encyclopedia who taught me many things, in the cath lab and the clinic, that cannot be captured in any textbook. Generations (literally) of cardiologists thank you for your dedication to teaching us.
