Dr. Gulati is the President-Elect of the American Society for Preventive Cardiology. She is a Professor of Medicine at the University of Calgary and the director of the first Women’s Heart Center in Alberta. She was a Professor of Medicine and the inaugural Chief of Cardiology at the University of Arizona. She is the author of the best-seller, “Saving Women’s Hearts” and former Editor-in-Chief of the American College of Cardiology “CardioSmart”, the patient education and empowerment initiative. She served as the chair of the national chest pain guidelines released in late 2021.
